Peggy's Cove and Sand Dollar Beach
Today the Darling's visited Anne on PEI, and we ventured out to Peggy's Cove. We saw the Swiss air memorial, and moved on to the village of Peggy's Cove and the lighthouse. An awesome sight with the rounded rocks and the waves crashing all around! The kids loved climbing all over the rocks. We enjoyed ice cream and headed back to the house to pack up for Sand Dollar beach. The kids were brave enough to catch live crabs, and Quinn and Grace each found a sand dollar! Rowan and Marlee loved the shallow warm water, and Rowan thought the pockets of water were giant puddles (left by the tide) that he was allowed to jump in! Nothing could be better for him! We visited again with the Wallaces, found out more about any and all questions we had and said our good byes! Mrs. Wallace would like us to give her warning next time we appear in Lunenburg so she can prepare us a traditional meal fish cakes! The evening ended with the painting of sea shells. Tomorrow is pack up day!!
