Bar Harbor- Blue Rocks Nova Scotia

Friday August 12
We left Bar Harbor around 8 am in sunny skies! Pushed hard and crossed the border into New Brunswick around noon, our first stop, and our second was lunch just outside St. Johns, a McLobster!  We then made it to the Hopewell rocks around 3:30 for low tide. The kids loved the clay-mud, not so much me! It would be really cool to show them the same rocks at high tide so they could see how high the tide actually is! With one other stop for gas (total of 3) we ended our 12 hr drive in Blue Rocks at 9 pm. The house is gorgeous! Right on the ocean in the fishing cove of Blue Rocks, just outside of Lunenburg. We arrived to a foggy night, with the fog horn blowing every 2-3 min! A restful night was had by all, despite the fog horn!
